Getting closer to it finally being legit. It will detect the voltage and amp then use a stepper motor to count the counter up at the correct kw rate. got a custom PCB worked up to control it all. Admin note: Image added for Blog feed

things are getting out of control

colors and timing better. now we await the homeflex to shove inside and figure out the cord retractor. then onto watt monitoring

a bit of an update: handle status lights working. sleep mode is all white. j1772 unhooked is steady green then it detects charging, resets the meter, and runs the meter up while charging.

got it reading charging status and moving the meter finally.

its a mock up location. install at real location in a bit.

Aside from a 4x4 or spending 900 bucks on a clippercreek unit what is everyone doing? Concept I been tossing around doing a run of. both with / without lighting. 4' tall. 6" wide.
