New owner here. Got a question…

Off topic...but you can't drop in that you've got a CSL and not supply pics! That sounds like an ideal garage to me, Tesla M3 for the mundane day-to-day stuff and a "proper" M3 for fun 👌

Luton V4 "button" on plug does not work

Just to add my 2p, noticed the same thing at the newly opened V4 site at Whitburn. I just assumed with it being an "open" site that the functionality wasn't enabled.

    Run-away I-PACE, really?

Saw this pop up on another forum, usual anti-EV rhetoric behind it, but it's not unique to EVs (even if you do believe this was a genuine mechanical/electrical issue). https://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/feb/13/french-driver-200kmh-car-chase There was also another one in Glasgow recently...

    New Year's gift from Tesla

Anyone had any luck with this...passed this over to my mate with a Lotus Eletre and he's just been charged for his first session. New app user and all setup with credit card etc as indicated.

    MYLR all season tyres

It was actually a raised drain cover, surprised the damage wasn’t worse but the tyre offered little to no protection it has to be said. I’d be tempted by the newer 104V fitment, but it wasn’t an option when I got those. I’d actually originally ordered the Pirelli but stock was thin on the...

    MYLR all season tyres

As they are now. Fitted last December with 8-10k miles on them, so no more “settling” to be done. They don’t look as pronounced as those first pics but they don’t extend past the rim edge like the OEM Hankooks. I’m fine with them based on the performance of the tyre, but hopefully that helps...

    MYLR all season tyres

Haha! I remember this, that was before my Tesla days. It just inches over the point of no return. I’ve got my winter driving profile set to creep to try and avoid that kind of thing happening in snow or ice but that was a bit of an extreme

    MYLR all season tyres

I’ve just had the wheels rotated after 8k or so miles, they don’t look as bad as they did when first fitted and more flush with the rim now. I need to give the car a good wash and pre-winter coating at the weekend, so will send an updated pic then

Tyre Rotation Cost? (Tesla Service Home Visit)

2-2.5mm. I’ve got all seasons on the car, maybe a slightly softer compound and more susceptible to wear, so I thought worth doing. I wouldn’t bother in your case I don’t think.

Tyre Rotation Cost? (Tesla Service Home Visit)

I got charged £47 today for their mobile service. Pretty reasonable I thought, kwik-fit wanted £15 a corner.

    MYLR all season tyres

Not sure, but I’m on the SUV version and there is a bit of poke, although this does seem to have got better over the last 5k miles

    MYLR all season tyres

That seems a bit on the high side. I was quoted about £880 for the Pirelli SF2s (which then weren't delivered) and ended up paying £920 fitted for the CC2s back in December.

These are the Hankooks that came off my Model Y and currently in the garage. T0 marked and speed rating W…

MY Parcel shelf not staying folded

You guys with parcel shelves don’t know how lucky you are… 😂 As a family car, I’ve been really impressed with the ability of the Model Y to slot seamlessly into family life, and the battery and drivetrain tech is still class leading. Like others on here though, having had almost a year to...

    MYLR all season tyres

They don’t have the foam, but I definitely wouldn’t say it’s noticeable. Possibly slightly more resonance over a broken surface. Comfort is improved though, definitely feel a bit more compliant at same pressures (42psi)
