I don’t know if the cops are enforcing Flex violations at all but if they are I would think they would blindly check if the Flex count matches passenger count and not make a distinction between ICE and CAV. What’s the point of focusing on ICE violators but not CAV violators?

No it doesn't give a single person that justification. If you want CAV discount, you need FasTrak CAV.

By setting FasTrak CAV to 3 passengers while driving solo, you are basically doing what you said some people do? ("some people risk going through the HOV lanes hoping a cop won't notice and catch them").

About 2022.8.2 vs 2022.4.5.x, why is it that there is only a single 2022.8.2 release and that is the only March code line release but there are so many 2022.4.5.x releases? How does Tesla decide which releases constantly get updated and which don't? Based on this thread, it is not like 2022.8.2...
