Help! How to Fix Scrape on Black Plastic.

Hey all (or “y’all” for those in the South), After 11,000km on my Model Y I got a big scrape on the passenger rear wheel well. I have a very tight, 100 year old driveway, and scraped the crap out of the black plastic above the tire. Is there any way to fix this without replacing the part...

Blog Tesla Cars to Sound Pedestrian Warning With ‘Snake Jazz’

Not sure yet. Maybe have to save the files in a “boombox” folder. Similar to how Teslacam was before in-car formatting. Going to try this whenever I get pushed the new update. Still waiting to literally Rick Roll people...

    Check list for delivery

This App was super helpful. If you find anything it generates a report you can immediately email to the service center rep. I used it and had $1800 worth of minor adjustments made (paint, panel gaps, etc...) ‎Inspect T

    Zoox Unveils All-Electric Robotaxi

I would like to see how this handles in colder climates (ice/snow/slush), potholes, and poor weather. Testing it in sunny and mostly dry places like California and Nevada seem to give this a limited use case. It seems to be in the same safety category as a Smart car and would likely be crushed...

Winter charging issues, frozen charge ports, road trips

think of supercharging like filling a bucket with a firehose... you’ll slow down as it gets full. also, preconditioning the battery helps a lot on your way to superchargers. I usually only start to supercharge my SR+ at between 10-30% and only usually up to 80 or 90%. It’s better for battery...

Winter charging issues, frozen charge ports, road trips

Yes, it is a noticeable difference in range (approx 10-15%) with the heat pump in cold temperatures. And this is also factoring in battery size differences between my M3 SR+ and MY. The SR+ battery is much smaller, so it's impacted more in colder temperatures. I find it dropping 5-10% overnight...

Winter charging issues, frozen charge ports, road trips

Yes, they're heated. Lucky you get your 2021 M3. The heat pump is amazing. My Model Y has a heat pump and I notice a substantial difference over my Model 3 without one in the cold. You'll love it.

Latest Tesla Model Y vs Model 3 size comparison - Electrek

Yeah, I thought so too. Back half looks like the X, the sides and front look like a ‘chubbier’ 3. Also, thanks! We put a lot of time, research, and brainstorming into those vanity plate names. #PLUGLIFE #S3XYRIDE

2020.40.3 "Open Glovebox" Command not Understood

So strange as it’s the same glovebox and MCU as the M3. I wonder why they haven’t enabled it?
