think of supercharging like filling a bucket with a firehose... you’ll slow down as it gets full. also, preconditioning the battery helps a lot on your way to superchargers. I usually only start to supercharge my SR+ at between 10-30% and only usually up to 80 or 90%. It’s better for battery...

Yes, it is a noticeable difference in range (approx 10-15%) with the heat pump in cold temperatures. And this is also factoring in battery size differences between my M3 SR+ and MY. The SR+ battery is much smaller, so it's impacted more in colder temperatures. I find it dropping 5-10% overnight...

Yes, they're heated. Lucky you get your 2021 M3. The heat pump is amazing. My Model Y has a heat pump and I notice a substantial difference over my Model 3 without one in the cold. You'll love it.

Hey guys... having some first world problems here. My Model Y LR AWD "Open Glovebox" voice command isn't working. Anyone else having this issue? My Model 3 SR+ had the same update last night but was unaffected and works perfectly with this command.

It’s a voice command. press the right scroll wheel And say “bug report: car on autopilot took wrong exit”

Anytime this happened to me (only a couple of times) I submit a bug report afterwards. Seems to fix itself in those spots after each update. Report bugs. “A good bug is a dead bug”.

so true. Compared to Superchargers/Turbo retrofit for ICE vehicles it is less than1/3 the cost for comparable performance. Plus your lazy ass can do this upgrade from the couch instead of going to a shop and waiting for the installation.

Yes. Also very stupid to have it set so high on autopilot. Especially that stretch of road as it’s so easy to get picked off by radar. The road is so straight and flat that you can see the curvature of the earth in the distance (unless you’re a flat earther... in that case gtfo this forum).

Got the VIN today when I called about a change in financing. Looks like it the car was built the same day as yours (29121) ;)

Got a text about delivery date on 14 Aug 20. Received VIN after I called them today about a change in financing and also mentioned I want my VIN if they have it. They were like "oh, yeah, no problem" and emailed the VIN to me right away.

Ordered on 30 Jul 20 and have a delivery date for 28 Aug 20. Was originally 3-7 weeks. 29 days is definitely within that range.
