At what point do we begin to wonder if Elon’s motives have carried far enough afield that as Tesla shareholders we press for a 2nd choice?

In connection with discussions of South Korean factory, Elon mentioned spending 10b$ in South Korea in 2023 to various suppliers. Does that strike anyone else as unexplainably large?

I think it makes perfect sense to worry that Tesla won't be able to sell out in China, and then on top of that worry that maybe they won't be able to build the cars they wouldn't be able to sell.

So let's imagine a wind sweeps through big tech of cutting off large chunks of unnecessary projects and payroll. what may come of waymo? I half expect to wake up some day to hear that they said 'yeah... nah not working'.. I know they are nominally still doing things but frankly I wonder what...

Elon just really really wants the cybertruck to succeed. Probably made it out of Legos once and all decisions since have lead to its reification. Even the landing rockets thing was just clever marketing. Master plan part 0 (never released) was: CYBERTRUCK OR BUST.
