    Fraser Island

Despite the obvious differences between a Tesla Y or X and a 4X4 (clearance and large side wall tyres for airing down) that will make it a fools errand, the biggest problem for the future electric 4x4's, will be range unfortunately. Anyone who has driven on Fraser, knows you go through fuel like...

    M3P?

Hi Onshore - which wheel design did you purchase? I'm thinking the same when my tyres are ready for replacement, for cost reasons, although they've already done 25,000km and still looking like they have another 20,000 in them... so happy with that. On the original question - I don't regret...

Queensland - Labelling requirements for Electric Vehicles

Initially I thought it was spam, then I went straight to the qmr website and read the same thing. The link didn’t work for me, I’ll try again tomorrow although I’m a little confused why qmr are not supplying the tags directly.

    M3P Bumper Repair?

I’ve tried to replicate the issue today and it’s behaving itself now. Might have just been a big early on in the software . Yes mine has the full suite of cameras, it’s a 2020.

    M3P Bumper Repair?

I don't have full self driving, so I don't think it "looks" to the sides at an intersection (like a driveway to a road) .. does it?

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

I know the metal rail and plastic sills are lower than the "belly". Just not by much, and I'm one of the weirdest car owners around that does inspect these areas from time to time.

    M3P Bumper Repair?

My only actual miss use of the controls I think could end up being quite serious. I live on a 100km road and have a long driveway. I have, on one occasion, used the auto pilot stalk as an indicator to turn right. Waiting at the driveway entrance, the car already had 100km/h on the indicated...

    Tesla Model 3 in Australia

hat does look great EcoCloudIT, however in contrast, I'd like more clearance on my M3P. The belly is the issue for me, although I've only ever scraped the rear most jacking points on my mother's driveway. Just paranoid about damaging that beautiful smooth belly!

Dealing with ICEholes, don't lose your cool

Can a Hyundai charge from a Tesla destination charger? That's good if so imo. Just thinking about the future when more friends have electric cars (possibly not Tesla's), they'd be able to use my 3 phase charger for a top up!

    Third Party Servicing in Brisbane

That is correct, brake fluid is hydroscopic, which means it absorbs moisture. This in time will contaminate the fluid through the vent in the master cylinder. Once moisture is in the system, it can corrode parts in the brake system. It's a cheap and easy preventative maintenance item every 2...

Model 3 Australia - Massive Price Cut

I wouldn’t mind that, the boot closing seems to take a special touch without it "slamming" in current form.

Model 3 Australia - Massive Price Cut

As a 2.5 month ago purchaser of a performance, this hurts a bit. Love the fact they are less expensive to improve take up, but wow, 10k less now is huge. No so much about resale, although that will be effected heavily for the people who purchased this year, for me the entry price is what really...

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

2020.40.4 installed on my M3P this morning. It seems to work pretty well and fixes up many discrepancies I have experienced with inaccurate speed signs I've lived with since owning the car. I don't have FSD, so I was pretty wrapped to still get this full update. By far the most impressive so far...

EAP for $5100 - are you buying it?

Is this "offer" only an Australian thing? I'm wondering if they are realising that the FSD package offered in Australia for over 10k is allot of money for very little improvement / advancement. A comment from the sales people when I bought my M3 was they thought it (10k FSD) didn't add much...
