If it was in autopilot and another car was approaching the car should have reacted on its own

I don't have full self driving, so I don't think it "looks" to the sides at an intersection (like a driveway to a road) .. does it?

If you have the 8 cameras and basic ‘autopilot’ than It should.
If you have the original 2 camera version which tesla claimed could drive itself with software enhancements in the future then the answer is no, it wont work.

I’ve tried to replicate the issue today and it’s behaving itself now. Might have just been a big early on in the software . Yes mine has the full suite of cameras, it’s a 2020.
