Almost 15% range loss Model 3 Awd

UPDATE!!! I scheduled a new SC appointment yesterday. Today I got an sms saying that they looked into my car and that the battery modules are unbalanced. I knew cells could be unbalanced but not whole modules, interesting.... Someone had this problem?

Do you have a LR AWD?

Model 3 Performance Battery Degradation One Month (Story)

I am going to add my data point LR AWD 6000 miles When new 100% charge: 305 miles Now 100% charge: 265 miles The degradation has been going down steadily since I received the car. Tesla SC says that its normal. I almost never charge to 100%. 90% daily

Tesla appointment for battery health concerns mysteriously disappeared

Yes although that does not help. I have tried 10-100% charge and discharges several times, not a single mile added back in my case. If you paid for a LR you should get that extra range, otherwise I might as well have bought an MR, since that's the range I'm getting. My point is that my...

Tesla appointment for battery health concerns mysteriously disappeared

Hi, I created a thread about my battery problem here: Almost 15% range loss Model 3 Awd if you wanna read. Anyway, I booked a SC appointment in the app saying that I wanted them to investigate why the battery has lost over 15% already. Today they cancelled the appointment saying that they did...

Almost 15% range loss Model 3 Awd

After moths of searching trough manuals and teslas website I finally just found what I needed on their support page: "Why is my displayed estimated range decreasing faster than miles (kilometers for EMEA) driven? The range displayed is not adapted based on driving pattern or other factors that...

Almost 15% range loss Model 3 Awd

Yes have seen that video several times and it seemed like a great solution to try out. However as previously stated my SC does not think there's is anything wrong with my battery, so I think it will be had to make them do the reset.

Almost 15% range loss Model 3 Awd

I follow Bjorn and saw his videos about EQC, although expect for the decrease in capacity my battery behaves normally. No sudden range drops at lower states of charge and I haven't had a sudden shutdown when driving at low SoC.

Almost 15% range loss Model 3 Awd

That varies depending on my driving, high speed highway is around 170 miles.

Almost 15% range loss Model 3 Awd

Thanks for the information although I do not have a Model S LR , I have a model 3 LR, so not as much degradation as you states. I might try to collect some data if I have time.

Almost 15% range loss Model 3 Awd

Yes it was continuous! Ofc I don't drive that long every week, but at least once a month I drive out to my place on the country side 110 miles one way and no supercharges, this is mainly highway driving above the speed limit. And the thing is that I can do it with the range that I have now but...

Almost 15% range loss Model 3 Awd

Yes have seen that article although a couple of days ago he posted an update saying that the range started to go down again below 290 miles and seems to continue dropping.

Almost 15% range loss Model 3 Awd

Maybe but it seems quite risky if I drive 250 miles to the 2nd nearest SC and they say the same thing, or ask me to go back to the other SC.
  14. M

Almost 15% range loss Model 3 Awd

To be clear, around 15% but still a lot ofc. The main problem is that my SC don't think there is anything wrong with the battery, and every time I trie to contact Tesla trough other sources ex chat or phone it always comes down to them saying that my SC will have a look at it witch of course...

Almost 15% range loss Model 3 Awd

First off, the car has 6000 miles. Avg wh/mile is 290, although this should not have an affect on the rated miles as Alan stated. I am not talking about real range here!. As stated it might go under 70% capacity in a while, but I need that extra range now, that's why I chose a LR over a SR+...
