Did you ever try them on the car or get new ones? I’m curious to know if they’re really that high quality. I want to get a feel for likelihood they’ll pop off going 80 mph and hit pothole. Thx so much for your post, super helpful.
the CC2s stick out from the rim, right? I'd like to decrease my curb rash a bit. No matter how careful, I keep rubbing on a curb a couple times a year, so hard to see sometimes. Thx.
Before I mess with my rear view mirror housing, was the rattle was like a sliding/shifting sound? Only happens on rapid accel/decel or bumps in road. Like something shifting or sliding inside of housing unit. Thx.
AC still works fine. Still makes the noise a few seconds after the car is turning off. It is pretty loud and surprising as the car is shutting down, pretty quiet, and then all of a sudden it makes this loud fluttering/grinding/whining noise for about 1.5 seconds, which decreases in...
thanks Ski. so maybe that's it. Like I said it just started when we used the car for the first time in a couple of weeks on July 5, so could fit with your theory on the SW update. I think it might sound like a band saw, and it starts about 2-3 seconds after the car has honked and pulled in the...
to clarify, the noise sounds like a band saw, starts up after the car has honked and pulled the mirrors in, so I'm just standing in the garage and all of a sudden it makes this band saw noise, quite loud, lasts maybe 2 sec, and the car turns off.
Have had my M3 since September, so know its sounds well. When got back from vacation July 5 noted a new noise after I get out of the car, mirrors fold, car beeps, a new whirring sound starts up, quite loudly (I've been told it is the A/C compressor), and as it slows down to a stop, it gradually...
Noticed my M3's noise about 3 weeks ago when the compressor is turning off. I've had the car since September and everyone in my family is saying "that ain't right--we're in NC. :)
Brought it in to my SC and got the same BS answers noted above. I'm really worried the A/C is going to break. Maybe...
why doesn't my tesla have this 360 view? it can't be that hard? and given how expensive this car is,i really don't want to accidentally scrape any of it on a curb, landscaping, other vehicle, etc.
just got my Tesla 3 and although it is amazing to drive, I am astonished by the lack of the 360 view and blind-spot monitor. Please Tesla, add this ASAP before I put a stupid scratch on my $60k toy. Go drive a new Leaf (just not very far of course), and you'll see what I mean.
