    Model 3 12v battery dead

Yes. There is so much that needed information is hidden in the noise. I am in the process of dealing with the problem now and seeking how to start a car that now has good 12v but remains dead. A request for service through the app, resulted in a mobile service appointment. About 10 days...

Anyone using Tesla App on ChromeOS successfully?

The "rotate screen" helped a lot, thanks. Control and full display are still problems. A browser interface remains much needed. This on a HP Chromebook x360. Has anyone had complete success on some other Android capable Chromebook?

    SuperCharger - Denton, Tx

I just discovered that Tesla has added some urban (75kw) chargers to the old 150kw in Kingman. Seems like a good cost effective solution for a site that is over used but only at times.

Will SolarCity H6 work in a rogue off-grid setup?

I haven't been paying attention to this thread recently but just revisited and found much of interest. My goal is to just use the H6 grid tie. After much trial, I've discovered that the Santan used panels I am committed to using do not work reliably with H6s. Or ANY transformerless inverter...

The latest systems components y'all getting from Tesla these days?

These people looked VERY promising; String Optimizers - Ampt However, the response to a query was "Thank you for your email. We do not deploy with SolarEdge"

Optimizers... what are they good for?

I have a transformerless 7kw 3 tracker SMA that worked pretty well for a while. It quit working and I never devoted myself to dealing with it's software access; I just hooked it up and observed production. I'd like to know more about SMA grid guard. I'll try googliing up. I had high hopes...

Optimizers... what are they good for?

Do you have suggestions on less troublesome transformerless? Something with variable isolation threshold or defeatable? Using ground mount and cheap used panels, there is a lot of safety stuff that I just don't care about. I can live with a single tracker. My newest project is installing a...

The latest systems components y'all getting from Tesla these days?

If anyone can identify a source, I'm all ears.

Optimizers... what are they good for?

Thanks but I don't "a" inverter. I need 10+. I've tried quite a few and found the old transformer inverters are trouble free compared to the newer transformerless. There has been a good supply of 4kw SMAs on the market but I did not buy enough and they seem to be no longer available. If you...

Optimizers... what are they good for?

Incidentally, I've had good success using inverters (both string and micro) that do "double duty" with both east and west facing panels.

Optimizers... what are they good for?

This is a topic of high interest to me right now. Some 5kw surplus SE inverters have come on the market recently for <$400. I BADLY need to learn how to use them without the expensive optimizers. Any suggestions? I have a test inverter which I have not been able to get to work. The next...

    Perks for early adopters

Well, I have to say that I've had a very poor PowerWall experience also. My very early PW deposit is still sitting in Tesla's coffers; three years after the deposit it became clear that Tesla was not going to deliver, I bought a PW through an installer and had a poor experience there also...

    Perks for early adopters

I wonder if Tesla is considering offering perks for early adopters? I've bought four, the first ordered in December 2012. The first three purchases went very smoothly but they badly botched the last one, 2-3 years ago. That is essentially the only sour experience I've had with Tesla. I still...

Supercharger - Kalispell, MT (under construction Apr 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

For what its worth: Last summer I drove my ~300 mile 3 from Missoula up the east side of Flathead Lake through Glacier NP and on to Ft MacLeod. It was semi-close. The slow driving in and around the park is pretty efficient.

Will SolarCity H6 work in a rogue off-grid setup?

I FINALLY got one of these hooked up! It seemed to almost work. It complained about, as I recall, line frequency and line voltage. From other sources, my frequency is dead on 60hz; the Delta was reporting 59.7. Line voltages were a bit high, around 245. I suspect that the unit may be...
