Newbie question: I have had my August 2016 build Model SP100D in Ludicrous Mode since I've got it (about 5 weeks). It occurred me...is there any reason not to keep in in Ludicrous+ mode? Do people do that? I have never tried and wanted opinions first!

Yeh I had looked through that but no such luck. It's the same as most other articles where it just generally mentions the P100D as a a model but no specifics re: changes year over year from the initial 2016 build to the final 2019 build.
