Had this repaired three times under warranty. Once on the driver side and twice on the passenger side. Let’s hope this last repair sticks (pun intended).
I was just at the new Columbia South Carolina service center and somebody came in to have the rubber trim on the FWD replaced. It was only around $300.
If this car needs brakes at 40K, you’ve got a bigger problem than the price. The previous owners had to have either abused the heck out of the car, or there is something seriously wrong with the brake system.
I went with adjustable MACSBOOST. Took the shop the better part of a day to dial in exactly what I wanted. There’s only so much toe adjustment when you change the camber. So they had to adjust the camber set the toe a number of times to get the best. I managed to get about -1 at medium height...
And….. here is the solution. 12 V reset apparently if you are in jack mode for too long the air suspension shuts itself off. And then it sticks in jack mode. You don’t want to know what I had to do to figure out how to fix the problem. make sure when you do the 12 V reset you disconnect the high...
At 80 miles an hour, 230 miles is a maybe. Not a definite yes not a definite no. It depends on so many additional factors but you’re right on the edge of the expected range at those speeds.
