    Model S&X Price Adjustments

New model? They are using current models that's been tested numerous times. All they are doing is locking the software. Which they have done plenty of times before during the early days. All that was probably done behind a desk by one of his software engineers. He most likely didn't get the...

New Standard Range Model X and Model S - what's in the battery pack?

I don't think any were delivered. Most likely current orders are being changed to the new dual motor. Most likely a software locked vehicle that can easily be unlocked if needed.

    Model S&X Price Adjustments

Meh, standard range were just a software locked long range vehicle. Battery did not need to be replaced. Market was probably very small for it, reason they just scrapped it all together after a few weeks. They did the same thing with the Model Y.

    Model S&X Price Adjustments

Anyone who bought pre-covid also had the luxury of those highest peak price times. I remember people selling used Teslas for more than a brand new one. I sold my used 2016 S75 for $58k, when used market value pre-covid were only around $45k. I only took a $22k depreciation hit in 4 years. Most...

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

Sure been crazy with Tesla pricing the last 2-3 years. I think that has more to do with what happen between mid 2021 to mid Jan2023. It was the highest peak for car prices. I think anyone who bought any brand new car between that period will be taking a huge loss. It's not just Tesla playing the...

    Model S&X Price Adjustments

Yes I remember both S and X were around $70k-$85k base pre covid. Anyone who bought a new car between mid 2021 and Pre-Jan23 will be taking a huge loss. Those were the highest peak times when it comes to car prices. Other dealers were marking up their cars $5-$15k over msrp due to shortage...

    Model S&X Price Adjustments

Pretty sure Elon have the numbers to work with before he does any of this adjustments. I doubt Elon just wakes up one morning and goes, " I feel like dropping the prices down today $20k." It's more like this been plan for months and they been watching how the S and X markets are moving. Also...

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

It's a given that there will be some difference in specs between the SR/LR/Performance models. Specially when it comes to battery, range, trim options. I assume standard range will not come with ventilated seats, rear monitor, premium trim, and sound.

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

More pissed off than the people who bought prior to Dec22? Those guys missed out on everything and paid the high inflation price.

Model X price cuts- yet again

Yup unless you add more options. Switching to yoke steering at $250 disqualifies it.

    Model S&X Price Adjustments

Model X now qualifying for the $7500 tax credit makes it a killer deal.

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

Tesla just dropped the prices of the S starting at $74,990 and X at $79,990 for both Dual Long Range. No more standard range. And all colors now are free.

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

Only thing I don't like are the new wheels. I'm hoping they don't change the spec of the wheels so I can swap it with the 2020 Performance Grey wheels. But the rest of the changes were enough for me to decide that I'm most likely trading in my 2023 SR Model 3. Also waiting to see if the new...

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

If the overall shape and look of the new M3 is similar to the bottom right photo... I will be highly tempted to trade in my 5 month old 2023 M3 by the year end.

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

Prices probably stays the same when they release the new highland M3, then it will go up when the demand is strong... I do expect them to discount leftover inventories of the old design.
