    Model S&X Price Adjustments

New model? They are using current models that's been tested numerous times. All they are doing is locking the software. Which they have done plenty of times before during the early days. All that was probably done behind a desk by one of his software engineers. He most likely didn't get the...

New Standard Range Model X and Model S - what's in the battery pack?

I don't think any were delivered. Most likely current orders are being changed to the new dual motor. Most likely a software locked vehicle that can easily be unlocked if needed.

    Model S&X Price Adjustments

Meh, standard range were just a software locked long range vehicle. Battery did not need to be replaced. Market was probably very small for it, reason they just scrapped it all together after a few weeks. They did the same thing with the Model Y.

    Model S&X Price Adjustments

Anyone who bought pre-covid also had the luxury of those highest peak price times. I remember people selling used Teslas for more than a brand new one. I sold my used 2016 S75 for $58k, when used market value pre-covid were only around $45k. I only took a $22k depreciation hit in 4 years. Most...

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

Sure been crazy with Tesla pricing the last 2-3 years. I think that has more to do with what happen between mid 2021 to mid Jan2023. It was the highest peak for car prices. I think anyone who bought any brand new car between that period will be taking a huge loss. It's not just Tesla playing the...

    Model S&X Price Adjustments

Yes I remember both S and X were around $70k-$85k base pre covid. Anyone who bought a new car between mid 2021 and Pre-Jan23 will be taking a huge loss. Those were the highest peak times when it comes to car prices. Other dealers were marking up their cars $5-$15k over msrp due to shortage...

    Model S&X Price Adjustments

Pretty sure Elon have the numbers to work with before he does any of this adjustments. I doubt Elon just wakes up one morning and goes, " I feel like dropping the prices down today $20k." It's more like this been plan for months and they been watching how the S and X markets are moving. Also...

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

It's a given that there will be some difference in specs between the SR/LR/Performance models. Specially when it comes to battery, range, trim options. I assume standard range will not come with ventilated seats, rear monitor, premium trim, and sound.

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

More pissed off than the people who bought prior to Dec22? Those guys missed out on everything and paid the high inflation price.

Model X price cuts- yet again

Yup unless you add more options. Switching to yoke steering at $250 disqualifies it.

    Model S&X Price Adjustments

Model X now qualifying for the $7500 tax credit makes it a killer deal.

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

Tesla just dropped the prices of the S starting at $74,990 and X at $79,990 for both Dual Long Range. No more standard range. And all colors now are free.

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

Only thing I don't like are the new wheels. I'm hoping they don't change the spec of the wheels so I can swap it with the 2020 Performance Grey wheels. But the rest of the changes were enough for me to decide that I'm most likely trading in my 2023 SR Model 3. Also waiting to see if the new...

Reuters: "Tesla readies revamped Model 3 with project 'Highland' -sources" [projected 3rd quarter 2023]

If the overall shape and look of the new M3 is similar to the bottom right photo... I will be highly tempted to trade in my 5 month old 2023 M3 by the year end.

Discussion: Model 3 Price reductions - Jan / April / Oct 2023 and all other pricing discussions

Prices probably stays the same when they release the new highland M3, then it will go up when the demand is strong... I do expect them to discount leftover inventories of the old design.

    windows tint

I just had my windows done at Jet Black Tint in Fremont last week... I had a couple of issues but they resolved it right away with in the same week. 1.) Installer misread the shade I wanted. But they replaced it to the right one right away. 2.) Rear windshield had a small tiny daylight going...

    Anybody who's 5' 0" or under driving a 3?

Wife is 4'11 and she has no issues seeing over. One thing about the 3/Y are minimalist design of the dashboard. They are fairly low designed. Easily to see over.

    Buying a used Model 3

Depends on the which package you are going with... Definitely 2021+... I just bought a SR last week of December. If I could have waited until now, I would have definitely bought a used 21-22 LR for almost the same price.

    Rear Window Tint

Finally got my car tinted. Elected to go with full rear window. When I woke up the next day, I noticed a couple spots on my rear windshield some daylight are shining through it. When I looked closer, look like they over cut the film on both areas. Side windows were done really good. No issues...

Is there a reason why folks choose beefier tires on those te37 wheels? Seems like will kill your range more with bigger wider wheels and tires?

Rear ended M3 [is this totaled?]

I would hope for the insurance to say it's totaled... No way I would want that car fixed, specially with the rear inside frame bent like that. Also time to buy some cheap Aero's and take those Sport Wheels off. Seems like they are still in great shape.

    Rear Window Tint

Just called a bunch places and I was offered this 3 different films for around the same price. Which one would you recommend? Suntek CXP Solargard Ceramic Xpel Ceramic Those are the films that fell with in my price range. Everything else was going north of $600+

    Rear Window Tint

My friend did a full tint on his 2020 M3. Found a crack on his rear glass months later. Tesla did replace his glass, but he decided not to tint his rear glass again. It seems like a lot of the cases I'm seeing are from older years. So I was wondering if it's still happening with 22-23 M3. Yea...

    Rear Window Tint

Yea I already got a price for both ways... It's about a $200 price difference. I really want to do full, but worried about the cracking issue. Which is a bigger headache later on. More money more headache. I might not mind the half tint, specially if you can't really tell from the outside...

    Rear Window Tint

I read and heard about the rear glass cracking issues on the 3s when tinted. Also not sure if that's still happening on the newer M3. I'm debating if I should do full or half tint on my rear. Heard some where, an installer told him that M3 are less prone to cracking with only a half tint...

    Model 3 Windows Tints

Looking to get my windows tint done soon... Anyone in here done 5% rear window and lighter colors on the sides(20-35%)? I used to do 5% back/rear windows and 35% front... Don't like the big shade difference from back to front windows.

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

Range is not really a factor to me. But would love the dual motor, fog lights, and better sound system that comes with the LR3. I checked Vroom today and they dropped their prices. I saw a few 2022 LR3 with under 2k miles for around $44-46k. Those prices will likely drop some more in the next...

SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

I was also on the market for a used M3 couple months ago. But the used market was pretty crazy at the time. So when Tesla had the $7500 discount/10k miles FSC, I decided to take the plunge for a SR3. Price drop didn't really affect me much, the price on the SR3 only went down $3k... I'm just a...
