Rubbish if you have to negotiate a price. A lot of people feel uncomfortable negotiating. Don't most manufactures have a set price for parts? Not sure Tesla needs to do everything differently!

I think the Fisker family worked with Tesla on the designing of the model S before going it themselves. Probably why we are seeing some similarities.

Clearly it is not slowing demand since that continues to increase, but if it does make a few people question the EV route, at least it gives the UK government more time to sort out and expand the public charging infrastructure. Although that might be hopeful wishing on my part.
