Interesting! So when you say it’s better to keep it “low,” how low? For instance, should I drive it down to 20% and then only charge to, say, 50%? And then repeat that procedure every day for the more shallow charges?

Day 4! Today was not any better, and it might have been the worst. It took 30-35 seconds before the relay flipped and the car started charging. Have a service appointment on the 21st to rule out any software issues with the car.

Yes. No error messages on the charger. Also checked for software/firmware update and it says I have the latest edition. No red error lights on the charger, either. Will update again tomorrow

Day 3 update: happened again today, this time for about 20 seconds before it finally started charging. Reset the charger and car again, also logged out of the app on my phone. We’ll see how it behaves now.

Wondering if it might be a software issue with the car. Only noticed it after the latest update. In any regard, as long as it keeps charging normally I’m inclined to not worry about it. But it is comforting to know I’m not the only one who has experienced it.

Powering off, resetting and letting it “sleep” for about half an hour did the trick for me. Never had an issue before the software update last night. Seems like a bug

Well, this did the trick. It’s all back now. Not sure what the problem was. Maybe the camera had to recalibrate after the update?

Interesting. When I got to work I manually powered the car off, waited a few seconds, turned it back on and it still wasn’t working. I’ll leave it be for a little bit and go check in a few hours.
