Thanks guys, essentially I’m just using it as a bit of due diligence, there are many variations to the estimate but I just want to be roughly in the ballpark, ie if its silly low for any reason, I’m expecting a X100D to say 270 miles ish on typical setting, plus or minus 10 is fine.

Looking at second hand cars and one key criteria is what’s the miles shown at 100%. I’m thinking its rare to see the car fully charged to 100%, so does this give the correct answer: 1) set the display to typical miles and record that figure (Miles) 2) set the display to energy % and record that...

Hi, We had a similar issue, turns out that one of the cables on the handset had come lose/broken. It was remotely diagnosed by Tesla. We noticed if you untangle / twist the cable it made things work or not depending on how many twists. Replaced the whole unit under warranty and now 100% fine.

After a few days it fixed itself, so s/w glitch is probably correct.

My app shows charging 0 mi/hr but the car is charging as the miles increase in line with 22 mi/hr. This happens on one car all the time, the other car I have it shows normal 22 mi/hr. I can’t find anyone else experiencing this, any ideas what is causing it?

Yes, I had a loner 100D for a week and it’s range was for more than either of mine.. i was expecting the P90 to have more range than the 75 but it was equal, so was a bit concerned that it had a bad battery, but from what I can tell it’s spot on.

Thanks, I have just tried the planner and it confirms the 75d is the same as the p90d when I check my daily commute of 90 miles, it shows exactly what I currently end up with in % .... fairly impressive how accurate it is!

Thanks for all the input, I guess lots of other factors overrides range mode. I will continue my test on the regular commute. Has anyone got any journey comparisons with range mode on v range mode off? How much difference does it make in %? My commute starting at 90% I end up at 49% - 51% so...
