The point was that they should have installed the critter guard to begin with or at least offered it to me as an upsell during initial install. I didn’t know enough at the time to ask for it.

I’m in the US and service in the app says they won’t be booking for this repair until 2023. My guess, given Tesla sucks at cars, is that it will be at least mid 2023.

Tesla autopilot is absolutely overpriced trash and in fact far worse than systems not called autopilot from other major manufacturers. Good thing I only paid $5k for “enhanced autopilot” and $3k for “full self-driving” back in 2018 instead of whatever ridiculous price they’re charging for this...
