    Idle fee scam?

That's not impossible but one thing - when I noticed I was no longer charging, I'd actually charged just over 80%. The charge limit line definitely had some green on the right side of it. It's possible the display just looks this way and I don't remember the actual number of miles I had...

    Idle fee scam?

Both times it was on my car, not my phone. I should have also made it clear, there was at least one open space the whole time I was there, even after the second time my limit was re-set to 80%. I kinda needed the extra range but I wasn't gonna keep anyone from charging, so I kept an eye open...

    Idle fee scam?

Just a heads up but there seems to be an odd wrinkle with idle fees going on. So I was charging two days back at a busy charger and when I arrived, it automatically put my limit at 80%. My need was great so I upped the limit a bit, sat back to let ‘er charge. After a while I noticed that the...

Way late to answer but I go by this charger nearly every day, often several times. I've never seen a line although I have seen it down to only one or two stalls empty. No bets on a year from now as there seem to be more and more teslas around here every day, and this one is very conveniently...

I'd be extremely surprised. I've a buddy who seems to have a source on this, and he said this is the Gainesville SC. They moved it because the guys at the place they were going to put it, Cabelas, backed out. The Haymarket SC is about as well-visited as any I've seen. I've been to a solid...

They seem to be still messing about with the concrete in the two far ones. They apparently messed it up once already but they’re working on it now. A truck with some sort of concrete construction logo pulled up before i left. No reason to suspect those pylons aren’t working too.

    We’re up and running!

Still no power to the pylons and the ‘4’ on the meter hasn’t changed. On the plus side, the transformer is definitely humming.

I don't know about 'live' but Tesla was 100% there last week, early in the week so it wasn't quite finished yet but they surely knew they were close. I'll swing by in a bit and see if we're up and running. I'll at least get close enough to the transformer to check for hum.

Does this help? Still no power to the charging towers as of this morning.

And ... Yep, no power. But the transformer is here as is the power meter. Any guesses how long it’ll take them to check things / turn them on, Reddy?

Doesn't look like much got done today although there were definitely guys on site. Oddly, the two far slots which had be re-concreted are being re-concreted again. Looks like they tore up the new work and are setting up to pour again. Strange.

Happy to oblige. Today's news: looks like they've begun to wire into the pole. The wires currently lying along the ground look like they'll perfectly reach the connectors above. And I'll wait for expert opinion on this but that pad looks ready for a transformer.

They did and they are - all the covers had been removed and they were definitely doing something with them, wiring it looked like. There was also a Tesla Mobile Services car there (behind the truck), and, I believe, wire sticking out of the pipes near the pole. Nope, no sign that they were...

Lotta cable work today, and a concrete slab where the transformer is soon to go.
