lightweight wheels model 3 performance 0-60 testing

Under perfect conditions the Model 3 is not limited by traction or power, ideal conditions do however mean hot enough for tires to have ideal performance and hot enough battery temps for max power output, as well as of course high enough SoC. If its very cold, you have less friction and also...

lightweight wheels model 3 performance 0-60 testing

yes, but if you say you beat the other guys dragrace times - its really hard to compare those numbers as so many factors come into play that you cant really then know how much the wheels affected the result.

lightweight wheels model 3 performance 0-60 testing

Having been doing dragraces with turbo Volvos, 3 Performance and Y Performance - I must say that you cant really just compare data you have - with others. Reason for this is that for max accelleration you need high enough temperature for tires to have grip, also high enough for battery to have...

    Snow tires for 21 Ubers?

In Norway the YP comes with Nokian R5, I kindof like this tire. Its an EV specific tire with high load. Its not as rubbery feel as Nokian R3 was. If I didnt have this, I would also look at Michelin or Goodyear or Continental. Most likely I would buy Continental if not Nokian R5

[Feature request] Model Y Performance 0-60 in 2.99s? How much $$$$ will you pay?

I did, after buying a 3P and an X. Size and agilty wise I prefer 3P. But it's a sedan and no hitch for the P. I would much prefer a sized down YP with performance from the 3P or even faster.

[Feature request] Model Y Performance 0-60 in 2.99s? How much $$$$ will you pay?

They should refresh the Model 3 with Y rear hatch and give hitch. Also bump power a bit :-) I want back in the 3 size (or even smaller), if they can make it more practical.

Where to hover foot at a stop -brake or accelerator?

You can see it in the regen, as well as the picture of the car will show that lights are on. When the car is in hold, you see the (H). When in hold, you do not want to touch brake pedal by accident, so move foot away :-) The car will engage brake lights as long as you decrease in speed over a...

Where to hover foot at a stop -brake or accelerator?

Put the car in Hold mode. When coming to a stop you can let the car regen by letting slightly off accellerator. When you come to the stopping point, if you need to use the brake you use it. Then when your car enters brake hold, move your foot away from both pedals. When light comes green, just...

[Feature request] Model Y Performance 0-60 in 2.99s? How much $$$$ will you pay?

I would pay 3000$ for sub 3 second upgrade for my YP. Feels much slower than the 2019 3P I had did :-P So I do hope they unlock some more juice.

New Austin 4680 AWD (not LR) 279 mile range variant -Oddities and questions...

I think the interior is the same, what will differ is the underbody of the car, as it will have the structural battery and I guess both front and rear casting.

Model Y Performance 21" Tires - Larger, More Comfortable Fitment Details and Experience - Michelin AS4's (With Photos)

At 60 mp/h you will be doing 60.2 mp/h. That is a very minimal change. If you move the 275 rear tires up front and fit 295 rear, it will be almost same as speedo was before. But the height/sidewall will increase a bit. Track width too. It will most likely take some few % of your energy...

Model Y Performance 21" Tires - Larger, More Comfortable Fitment Details and Experience - Michelin AS4's (With Photos)

I have seen multiple people running 295 in rear and 275 front. Also Ive seen people AUTO-X with aftermarket wheels with square 285/35-20, then they have had 10.5" wheels and ET40 (so means tire is further from knuckle). But I cant guarantee it will work with any aftermarket setup, as I havent...

    2023 After market suspension upgrade?

The comfort suspension will be replaced if you change to coilovers, then the shocks and springs will be new. This means that it wont differ in regards to older cars. That beeing said I did run KW V3 on Model 3 Performance, it was lower and harder than stock 3P but it was less bouncy. The 2023...

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

We just have this small track in my city, it's really a gokart track that is used. The long end of this track we also use for dragracing (street legal, 0-201 meter). I have been dragracing and gokarting, but not auto-x. However I will consider to wait a bit with new wheels and replace rear...

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

Hello, thanks for your suggestions. I saw this one: 285's or 295's for MYP at front and back/square set up He put 285/35R20 in square setup with ET40 on 10 rims. I saw some other guy using 10.5" rims too, but if 285 fits 10 I guess that's fine too. But of course maybe it's better to downsize...
