Odd charging interruption, car won't move

Good idea to keep an eye on the 12v battery; other threads have mentioned the Ohmmus. Meanwhile, I looked up the alerts - all have to do with the input charging voltage and condition [110V in this case]. I will reset the garage breaker! Now, why that should trigger yakking about "not...

Odd charging interruption, car won't move

12v battery is less than 2 years old, but is an Ohmmu. I looked up notifications and several popped up, even a day after the event: BMS w008, f008, f011. These advise "vehicle may not restart, service is required."

Odd charging interruption, car won't move

2013 "S" with 96K miles. Phone notification that charging stopped [110V]. This after being hooked up 20 minutes and still having 175 miles on the pack. Never an issue with this slow charge setup. This time I go out to check and remove charge cable. Display advises some "electrical issue,"...

EV Tuning S door kits not shipping, no communication

I ordered a door handle kit from EV tuning Jan. 3, but never heard a word after that - no shipping notice, and zero response to many inquiries. Really poor customer relations to the point where I initiated a chargeback and cancelled the order. Still no word. Is the company defunct? Beware!

    LTE Retrofit $200

TESLA SHENANIGANS! I had just gotten the go-ahead to schedule my eMMC recall for my 2013 "S." Then Sparky [his name, dontcha know!] popped up with the 3g/4g reminder, even mentioning the $200 fee. I think the car can get along without it, using wi-fi for upgrades, but I added this to the other...

Washington SB 5444 - to impose a mileage tax on owners of electric and hybrid vehicles

I recently acquired a 2013 model S in Oregon. Forgetting that I had some months back read a newspaper blurb about new DMV fees, I was shocked when my registration tab was about $300 more than expected. These are road usage fees, but not based on miles driven. I for one have several cars and...

    Car hibernation

W ell, I never saw a setting for Grizzly bear hibernation, but that's apparently what the car did. However, just enabling "constantly connected" solved the problem completely, and I can rouse the car by phone immediately and get it warm. Note that I do keep the car plugged into a 110V outlet at...

    Car hibernation

Deleting old Nav destinations - good idea! And I just turned off Energy Saving mode," since I keep the car connected to a 110 outlet all the time at home.

    Car hibernation

Good idea; I had looked in the menus for anything on hibernation, without success, but went back and found an option under "display" for "always connected." Not sure how this will affect allowing the car for a week, but I will report back, uh, in a while!

    Car hibernation

Yes, but can you get going right away? Not having access to my car's manual, I am not sure what they call it, but when I say the car goes into deep hibernation after some days, I mean very deep. Having to push on a handle is just the start. So I guess I am asking members, do they have the same...

    Car hibernation

As far as I know it is, but how does one tell?

    Car hibernation

If I don't use my Model S for more than a few days, it apparently enters a deep hibernation using little or no power. This is fine, except waking up seems to take ten minutes or more, during which I hear various sliding noises from the chassis. The viewscreen remains black for most of this...
