Apparently, I didn't explain things correctly on my initial post. The initial orientation of the outlet had the mobile connector wire and box extending upward above the outlet when plugged in. It is now hanging down when plugged in after maintenance guy flipped the outlet.

I appreciate all the replies and helpful info. I decided to ask and the apartment's maintenance man had the outlet flipped within 30min. I haven't rented an apartment in probably 27yrs, so I had forgotten how nice it is to call someone else to fix everything. 😆 Thank you everyone!

+1 for this solid response to such a condescending post. Love it! 👍 I, too, have had the wall connector since day one and couldn’t imagine not having it. I don’t, however, understand why anyone would try and down another person who prefers one charging setup over the other. To each, his own. ☮️ ✌️

Yep, it’s simple. I got stupid lucky and one fell to me because the owner was out of the country for two weeks. It seems Tesla will not wait if you are unavailable when your number is called. 😂
