Model X Crash on US-101 (Mountain View, CA)

Pretty sure that's just one of the dark seams in the road.

Model X Crash on US-101 (Mountain View, CA)

No permission to view that, apparently.

Model X Crash on US-101 (Mountain View, CA)

Oh wow. That is bad. If that was still like that (and I have no reason to believe it'd be fixed already), that would make a huge difference to anything that hit that. Again, wow.

    Removing seat backs

Yeah, I ended up getting it off. But the clips don't come off with the back, which doesn't seem ideal. But I got it back on, too.

How Do You Remove the A-Pillar Trim?

To be 100% sure I wasn't going to interfere with the airbag. I taped them up and out of the way to be doubly sure. Plus, why not learn? The only place I tucked the wire in was along the FWD.

How Do You Remove the A-Pillar Trim?

Perplexes me why two people gave it a thumbs down. Oh well. I tried!

    Neural net / Fleet-learning

From my understanding, the net is not training right in your car, but instead data is sent back to the mothership and then combined with the data from all other cars and the net is trained. Then the newly trained net is given to all cars in an update. That is what is meant by fleet learning...

How Do You Remove the A-Pillar Trim?

    Removing seat backs

I *know* I've seen someone who removed their seat backs and posted pictures as well as a brief description of how to do it. Anyone know where that thread is lurking? I cannot find it anywhere :-/

What did you name your model X?

Red Five for now, until I think of something better!

Blackvue Dash Cam - Step by Step Installation

I just did this. The inner channel is clipped in. Just pull it out. The back is taped. Pull of the tape. Now you will have the best 40 minutes to an hour of your life trying to fit the BV wires into that bitch. And your fingers will hurt afterward from trying to pry the sides so you can hold it...

    sudden acceleration

I had always wondered why they didn't have an on/off button like other cars, but assumed it was because the cruise is adaptive, and therefore 'safer' since it will avoid running into cars in front of you. But it could definitely freak a person out when it happens unexpectedly, and in this case...
