thankfully the driver was a "local" and must have known the hotspots or 11pm was too late for the cops? these guys were crazy and when we popped over to Italy we drove 230KMH in our rental car and were blasting through the average speed camera's. each time we passed a camera they'd say...

this was actually not in a tesla, but i was just trying to find an example of 60+ minutes of sustained high speed in the uk. these were evening runs so traffic was lighter.

That's the difference then...we go for 100 miles or more with the occasional left lane hog (right lane for you :) ) which may slow me down 10 MPH, but relatively event free... when i drove from Heathrow to chippenham we went 80-100 mph and then 60-80 the last few miles on the back roads.

This is going to be great for visiting family and friends in both zionsville and chicago! :)

i have farmer family in Pembina & Neche ND who scoff at the idea of a Tesla and claim it would never work for them. and to a certain extent it's true without the SC near them. i just can't wait to one day drive straight to Pembina and visit them. :)
