Congrats but sorry you upgraded too early. Today the upgrade is free since the AWD price dropped $3K and that makes the RWD and AWD difference less than $2K. Tesla is upgrading all Early RWD LR to AWD at no cost. Also if you ordered the FSD at $6K, Tesla will honor that price. Today it's $8K.

Tesla already had a LR RWD order. Many of us opted for it last year and put our order in at $48,000. At that time the FSD was $6,000. My take on the deliveries in general is that Tesla has so much going on that they're constantly futzing with configurations as technology pops up. I'm assuming they have 300K - 400K MY orders if not more. That's a lot of orders to mess with and that's what's happening, it's a mess they have...

Bottom line is it did not remove the variant, it's just following the Tesla plan of high price units first...however there are rumors that the LR RWD may have another tweak done before production, it will still be LR....possibly may have the new batteries either standard or an option...just a rumor.
