2024.24.1 - is time travel possible?

So, I wonder what the chances are that you don't get another update until after week 24 of 2024 since the version numbers will always be lower?

    FSD Portability/Transferability

It's a simple software switch. Not all that complicated. Either it goes with the car or is transferred to a different car. Unlike traditional, old school options, FSD is appreciating. For an owner to add it to a car that didn't already have it was $7k in June and $8k today and likely more when...

    FSD Portability/Transferability

I sold my Model 3 with FSD and bought a Model Y and have a reservation on a Cybertruck. I am hesitant to buy FSD for the Y because I may not keep it long enough to benefit much from it as was the case with the 3. Neither Tesla nor it any other dealer considers FSD in trade-in valuation so the...

Premium Connectivity revoked on "used" cars ?

@R_Stephens what ended up happening? I'm in the process of privately selling my Model 3 purchased before July 1, 2018 and have found contradictory information and nobody to contact at Tesla for confirmation.

Musk Says Model Y Production Ramp is ‘Top Priority’

Wouldn't it be cool if while walking the line he took a second and signed the cars he had QC'd in some inconspicuous but findable place. What an Easter Egg that would be!

Poll on Model 3 Air Vents

I believe that the vents in back turn on/off automatically based on if somebody is sitting in the seats. Count me in for overall really liking the system. The only real issue I've seen is the rear heating too much when in heat mode. My first big wish would be to have a simple 'Vent' mode (no...

    Model 3 Weird Smell

That was my theory also and I noticed that Cabin Overheat Protection seemed to be using primarily recirculate which would make matters worse. I've been intentionally turning recirculate off when I think about it and it seems to have helped.

This must be the silliest reason to sell a Tesla

I'm thinking that aluminum foil underpants might be more appropriate in this circumstance.

    Model 3 Phone holder

Finally got the wrap done. Correction... Thanks to the folks at RPM Tesla for the material to work with. I had to do it in a few pieces but it looks much better than the white.

Are you OK with AutoPilot jail?

I prefer to call it 'Time-Out' instead of 'Jail'. It's easy to avoid and I believe extremely important to keep.

    Model 3 Phone holder

Here is what I have come up with so far. Note. I will be vinyl wrapping it to match the back of the scren thanks to the folks at Abstract Ocean.

ProClip Device Mounts for the Tesla 3

I have also been a ProClip user for years on all of our family vehicles. Unfortunately, I'm in Florida so too far away for the ProClip folks to use my car. I had reached out to them telling them about a design idea I had and they said "we are not taking on product suggestions for the...

    Auto wipers

It does wipe more frequently and/or faster as it rains harder. It just seems to detect less than there actually is.

    Auto wipers

I have been driving a 2015 Model S (AP1 I think) while my Model 3 was getting some work done. I noticed that it had a two-stop sensitivity setting on the stalk. Since the M3 is completely digital, it wouldn't seem like a terribly complex thing to add a multi-step sensitivity setting for those...
