From my own experience, they don’t seem to be watching it very closely. Who knows what you will experience next in summer, but I got 5000 credits in early June, and here I am mid January 7 months later and they haven’t gone away.

The original poster is 100% correct. It’s only started in the last couple months, but is certainly happening. As soon as I come back from anything that interrupts the audio, for the first split second, it blares.
