    Build quality issues are exaggerated!

Unless you weren't the first owner of the car, then chances are you lucked out on one they put them on. While I haven't heard of many saying this, you aren't the only one, so apparently it's a thing on some cars. I didn't have rear ppf or mud flaps on mine. It isn't like Tesla to throw in extras...

    First test M3LR 2023

I would personally be a little concerned at 4%,. Teslas are known to hold out down to the very end though.

Chemical guys has this. Probably a similar product. Using with polisher.

    Tesla Apps Difficulty

No sense in me pushing this I guess. No pay no play. 😓 Spotify is tempting to buy because I like the accessibility of the app and the fidelity. I could use it at home too as long as I didn't do what I described in that other post again. Funny thing is I had no clue it was going to all of my...

    Tesla Apps Difficulty

I am a fairly technical sort of guy working in a technical field, so I don't generally have the kinds of issues with software I am having with the apps in my Model Y. Who knows? maybe I'm just getting old and can't admit I'm loosing my edge. I can't seem to get signed on to and use several of...

    Build quality issues are exaggerated!

In Model Y, mud flaps are plastic mounted to non metal sufaces using push pins. They should be rinsed periodically.

    Build quality issues are exaggerated!

I didn't have mud flaps on my MYLR. Front mud flaps protect the most, but the rear ones help too. My car only has the standard plastic lower panel. I haven't seen any PPF. Apparently some of the cars ship with the flaps and PPF. Low priced easy to install item. I figure if it saves a few rock...

    Build quality issues are exaggerated!

FWIW, mud flaps go a long way towards preventing side panel chips.

    Build quality issues are exaggerated!

Thanks for this. When I took delivery of my MYLR in white., yeah, I know there aren't many of us around :) I decided initially to ceramic coat the car for protection. I use the Y as a daily driver. Another factor in all of this is the last car I purchased, not a Tesla, was coming off of...

Given the most recent price cuts (April 19) what is the advantage of buying the Model Y LR instead of the SR?

If I might interject- We have a few members here from outside of North America. I believe I have heard there are different configurations of the Y elsewhere. In China I heard ( maybe falsely) there are Model Ys with only RWD using LFP battery packs. If they are exporting a few of these cars to...

2170 vs 4680/Standard vs Long Range

I believe 4680 is seen as the way Tesla will eventually become less dependent on outside battery sources. Initial results certainly are not bad, but likely are under expectations, enter the two different formulations. If they can't increase the power/density ratio they can still add more...

2023 Model Y no USS discussion, incl. Discussion of Tesla Vision Firmware

Yeah I made this determination and still decided to buy the car. Vision is just a little quiky, but I live with it. Redundancy of multiple systems would have been the best IMO, but it is what it is.

2170 vs 4680/Standard vs Long Range

Thus far, I see 4680 going into cars with less range. I really hope you are right about these batteries showing up in cars with longer ranges.

    Build quality issues are exaggerated!

Same here. People also say Tesla paint isn't as good as others. This is not true either. Several have used a paint thickness gauges to determine it's put on just as thick and in come cases thicker than several OEMs.

brand new Model YLR bluetooth connectivity issue

I'm really hoping it's some kind of a reset issue or my phone. I have yet to do a hard system reset. I plan to give that a try. Then maybe I'll see if my wife's phone is having the same issues. I was attempting to connect CarLinkit which may or may not have created or contributed to the issue...
