Well, I didn't really "try" it, it just happened... (stopped at curb to pick up the mail, thought it was still in "D" but in "hold" mode.)

Oddly, with my car (LR AWD, 2019), it will not shift out of "Park" without my foot firmly on the brake, and it displays a warning should one attempt otherwise.
