I'm okay with a moderate amount of taking things apart. I've already replaced all of the other interior lights and puddle lights with blue ones.

I doubt it but if it did, just swap in some stock Tesla filters and bring it into a service center and play dumb. You'll get that warranty repair. The filter doesn't affect how fast the fan spins, it only affects how much of the air that you feel. You're not going to put any additional stress...

While it's true that 0.3 microns is larger than the size of a covid-19 virus, it is also true that it is smaller than many of the aerosolized droplets that will be carrying it. But it's a moot point because worrying about filtering out virus particles in a vehicle where you won't be near enough...

These filters claim to filter out particles as small as 0.3 microns, which is the same filtration ability as an N95 mask. So if you're worried about covid, and this description can be trusted (no idea if it can or not), they might help. Although I doubt you have to worry much about your car...

Same price for me in MD. Same part except in blue. The body shop is charging $154 for labor. I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to DIY repairs. I've only done the basics but based on the videos, I'd probably attempt the replacement myself if insurance wasn't covering all of it.

What was your procedure for bending them? Did you heat them up and press them up against the light or did you bend them with your hands?
