Anybody can share the latest VIN range for Model 3 Long range? I am trying to figure out whether the VIN allocated to me (1 days after lifting hold) is a new VIN or a old VIN.- T$LAfan

I lifted a hold yesterday and its already showing VIN allocation with a delivery between 12/14 - 12/20. I am not ready to take delivery yet :-(- T$LAfan

your insurance should set it up for the delivery date. In my case, I just gave the insurance details to the Tesla agent and they contacted my insurance agent to complete the paper work. I didn't ever upload any insurance proof on Tesla website.- T$LAfan

I took the delivery from Peabody MA today. Overall a good car delivery experience. There was only one minor issue in the car at a small corner on the rear liftgate, the paint was chipped (right besides the glass). I took the delivery anyways and have taken a service appointment to get that...- T$LAfan

Based on the discussions on this group, I also tried Costco Connect, however, I got a quote that was almost 3x of my current insurance cost. I am not sure if the agent I talked to made some stupid mistake. I am continuing with my current insurance (AAA/Mapfre), that will cost almost $1000 for 1...- T$LAfan

2022 Delivery Date for my Model Y
You dont really need to upload the insurance in the states that require VIN in insurance.... I never uploaded any insurance detail and got a VIN- T$LAfan
