Does changing color also resets the price of the car to the new price?

That is exactly what I did, when I picked my Model Y. A few weeks later, I changed it back to most aggressive and now love it.

My expectation was that this will take 1-2 months after hold is removed.

Anybody can share the latest VIN range for Model 3 Long range? I am trying to figure out whether the VIN allocated to me (1 days after lifting hold) is a new VIN or a old VIN.

I lifted a hold yesterday and its already showing VIN allocation with a delivery between 12/14 - 12/20. I am not ready to take delivery yet :-(

your insurance should set it up for the delivery date. In my case, I just gave the insurance details to the Tesla agent and they contacted my insurance agent to complete the paper work. I didn't ever upload any insurance proof on Tesla website.

Hertz Model3 order should not have had effect on Model Y deliveries?

Anybody in Boston area have suggestion where to get the state inspection done for the new MY? I am worried that a regular inspection shop might lift the car incorrectly and damage the battery pack....

It seems Hertz has ordered 100000 Tesla recently..... THat may have impacted delivery times for current orders to be pushed to middle 2022....

I took the delivery from Peabody MA today. Overall a good car delivery experience. There was only one minor issue in the car at a small corner on the rear liftgate, the paint was chipped (right besides the glass). I took the delivery anyways and have taken a service appointment to get that...

You dont really need to upload the insurance in the states that require VIN in insurance.... I never uploaded any insurance detail and got a VIN

Delivery scheduled for 10/23.... Right now waiting for DCU to respond on my loan application. I thought some people got the loan approved from DCU in a few minutes with an online application, but I have not heard from them after filling the application. I tried to call but it was a 3 hours...

It was easy to call and get the change done....

How do you change the financing? Is there a number where you call to get this done? I do not have a SA assigned to me (as far as I know).

I am in exactly same situation as you. We gave one of our cars to my son, who is away at college. And are now managing with 1 car between my & my wife. For us, its simpler because I WFH..... but then, now, (as of today) I also have a VIN.... My EDD was 10/9-10/27 and I got VIN today, so...

I got VIN'd...... XXXM286XXX..... EDD changed to 10/20-10/26 (from 10/08 - 10/27) Yay!! :):)

My EDD moved by 1 day 10/8-10/28 to 10/9-10/27 (so window shortened by 2 days)... Weird

I checked my EDD after a while and it has jumped back from Nov month to Oct 8 - Oct 28. Its the first time, when EDD window is 2 weeks away for me.

Based on the current proposals on table, most Tesla won't qualify anyways. The car price (for EV credit) is capped at $55000. Any MY is more than that. Maybe, some M3 will qualify

I called around to setup a test drive and got an answer that they don't have a test drive car and its hard to find one..... Somebody at Tesla setup a virtual meeting with me and at the scheduled time told me that he does not even have a Model Y that he can show me during the virtual call...

I have exact same configuration as you and in MA too.... I see that you ordered 5/21, so with 7/2 order, I will get MY at least 6-8 weeks after you :-(

I ordered MYLR on July 2. The estimated delivery was in Sep. So, I didn't bother to check until recently. Then I ran into this forum and joined today. My account shows a delivery in October now. Details: MYLR: Red/ Black/ 19" / 5 seat / tow / no FSD Ordered 7/2; EDD October; Boston MA
