"Why should I pay for your gas? I'm not paying for anyone else's gas"

Edit: I do not believe that I am entitled to this. I just wanted an easy, quantifiable comparison for the energy that it would pull. For my own learning, and for the education of others. I apologize if the title made it seem like I felt entitled to that. I have no intentions of giving Tesla...

"Why should I pay for your gas? I'm not paying for anyone else's gas"

For the record, I am not looking for a handout. Nor would I fight my employer for saying no. They have that right, and that seems fair to me. There are already outlets installed in the parking lots that were put in place for cars with block heaters, because it gets so cold up here in ND that...

"Why should I pay for your gas? I'm not paying for anyone else's gas"

Hey guys, I am trying to convince my employer that the amount of electricity pulled from a standard 120v outlet to charge a Tesla is a very small amount. I know there is only so much output one single outlet can have. What is an easy way to quantify this to the average person? What is another...

Battery cycle ranges and degredation over the cars lifetime (90-20%?)(95-5%)

Yeah thats exactly my worry. I head NW up to Grand Forks, and its almost always a NW headwind as you probably know. I did some basic math factoring in about 40% range loss (worst case) and not factoring in charging on a 110v outlet at work on base, but it seems like it would cut it close on a...

Battery cycle ranges and degredation over the cars lifetime (90-20%?)(95-5%)

There isnt a super charger on the way right now, but I believe one is coming soon! And I can plug into a 110v outlet at work for 9 hours. Im not expecting much, if any, range from that in the winter though.

Battery cycle ranges and degredation over the cars lifetime (90-20%?)(95-5%)

Hey guys, Ive been a huge Tesla fan and investor for about 5 years now. I am finally ready to pull the trigger on my first tesla (long range model S), but I am hesitant because I have a 200m round trip commute every day. I've done the math and figured I could make it there and back even on the...

Tesla cold weather range loss question (please help!)

With the MS LR+ (with arachnid wheels 375mi) i'd hope to at least be going 75mph. Is there a pretty high range loss above 75? I cant see myself going 50-60 on the highway unless I was in a dire situation

Tesla cold weather range loss question (please help!)

Hey guys, I've been wanting to buy a Tesla for about 6 years now and I finally have the ability to do so. The only problem is, I commute 200mi(320km) round trip for work every day in North Dakota, where temps can get VERY cold. I will install a Tesla wall connector in my garage, but I only have...
