    Occasional clicking from front tire

Follow up. Took it into the service center. Did a 3-minute test drive with the technician. About 20 seconds into the drive he said it could be one of 2 or 3 things. He didn't tell me what those things were (or if he did, I forgot). He drove into the shop. I waited a couple hours and my car was...

    Occasional clicking from front tire

2018 Model S has occasional clicking noise coming from front tires. It doesn't happen at regular intervals, and it doesn't happen only upon acceleration, deceleration, turning, etc. It seems to be more random. Video of the front left tire. You can hear clicks at 0:06, 0:11, 0:16, two clicks at...

Supercharger - St George, UT - Convention Center Drive

Used this station today. I hadn't seen this thread and thought it was still the old 75 KW station. Imagine my surprise when I pull in to the convention center parking lot and see real superchargers! So happy to have a St George station <7 miles off I-15.

Supercharger - Nephi, UT - South Main Street

For those that are interested in the history of the restaurant, it was open until maybe 18 to 24 months ago. It was a fun place. Fun decor, good food. My kids loved eating here. They had a big tree inside and a model train that went around the restaurant near the ceiling and then around the big...

Supercharger - Nephi, UT - South Main Street

I didn't even notice the new chargers on my way south last week. The pins are right on top of each other on the map unless you zoom way in. I only noticed them on the return trip because I accidentally got off an exit early and approached from the south. Awesome to have more chargers here...

    Air conditioner *really* loud

Yes, loud inside and outside. Can hear my wife coming from up the street. She's not sneaking up on anybody. :)

    Air conditioner *really* loud

I thought that for a moment too. But the noise stops completely when I turn off the compressor, even with cabin air running. I concluded it can't be the cabin blower.

    Air conditioner *really* loud

Good thought. There is no difference in the noise between driving versus stationary. The noise starts the moment I turn on the AC, before anything has had a chance to heat up or over-pressurize.

    Air conditioner *really* loud

Here's another data point. I turn on the AC with fan speed 1, the noise is lower. Turn the fan speed up to 2, the sound goes up, both in intensity and frequency. Up to 3, a little louder with slightly higher frequency, etc all the way up to 11.

    Air conditioner *really* loud

Good suggestion. I assume the cooling fan operates independently of the AC? The noise happens only when the AC is on. As soon as I turn off the AC (either by powering off all climate, or by turning off the compressor by pushing the A/C button) the noise stops immediately.

    Air conditioner *really* loud

I haven't gotten the impression it's related to the battery. The noise starts immediately when I turn on the AC compressor, and stops immediately when I turn the compressor off.

    Air conditioner *really* loud

On the X I can see what I believe is the radiator by looking through the front grille. There is some black plastic that blocks the view (see picture #1). I turn on the AC and the the plastic rotates out of the way, exposing the radiator (see picture #2). The loud noise starts as soon as I turn...

    Air conditioner *really* loud

500 yards yowsers! It happens no matter the outside ambient temperature. It happens during a hot day and it happens at night when it has cooled down. It happens while supercharging, when driving, or when stationary in the garage.

    Air conditioner *really* loud

Just checked the radiator. It isn't dirty or clogged. It's actually much cleaner than I was expecting.

    Air conditioner *really* loud

That's a brilliant suggestion. I'll take a look today to see if the radiator is clogged.
