Hi All,
I will be driving/moving from ATL to Chicago in July. Anyone done this drive, tips, tricks, things to see, etc? Says ~12.5 hours on ABRP, planning on just doing it straight and maybe stopping at a rest stop for a few hours of sleep
Looking to upgrade my rim/tire set... Currently running stock 18's on Michelin PS3's.
A few people have recommended jumping to 20in rims, but I am a little worried about that jump because the roads around my area are terrible (I live in Midtown ATL). Any pros/cons of both 19in and 20in rims...
Would you recommend Connect? (you go through Costco with that I assume?) Looking into it, sounds pretty solid if they were able to take care of you like this...
Good to know! I saw that Connect was by far the cheapest option I have seen for my 3. Since it is through Costco, I had to assume it was reputable and solid
Looking for feedback on Costco insurance... looks like there was 2 options through them, Connect (700 for 6 months) and Midvale (900 for 6 months). Has anyone used this for their Model 3, and any pros/cons other than the price?
I have Geico now, and the price is getting ridiculous... now...
Keep us updated! Curious what it looks like in mid October, that will be the length of my stay as well. Except I am in Atlanta, temperature might be a little more moderate than up there lol
So I also have this issue, but for ~11 weeks. I am going to be away from my car for that long, and I live in an apartment where I can't keep my car plugged in.
What I am going to do - turn off Sentry, AC overheat protection (car will be in ATL, temperature should not be > 75 in those weeks)...
Going to try it out this weekend... Taking my friends car on a trip, so going to turn off Sentry and AC overheat protection, see what the drainage is going to be over a ~3 day period
Wow, your car only lost 18% in 3 months?? I assumed the drainage would be much higher....
I am now facing this situation, as I am going back home to LA for 3 months and my car is in ATL. Weather should be temperate, so feel like the car won't need to turn on to cool/warm the battery. Will turn...
Hey Tesla Fam,
I currently live in Atlanta, and am planning on going back home to Los Angeles in late October. I was planning on being in LA through the first week of January.
I was wondering if anyone has experience with an extended period of letting your car sit idle, nearly ~11 weeks. My...
Had a question... one of the wheel guys that I am talking to recommended that I upgrade my tires to 19in from 18in. He said 18in aftermarket wheels dont look that good on the Model3, and it wouldnt even be worth it. Is anyone running 18's on their Model3? Or is the consensus to upgrade...
