If you had the choice - what would you go with? Does 20k for the Foundation Series make sense. Does getting one fairly early way one's decision?

Good old tire rack - I think if you go to Goodyear.com it doesn't show any tires..lol I am hoping that these tires wear well.

Just picked up may car after getting it PPF. Any btw - beige is very close to white..just fyi. As for the tires on the 21s. Goodyear Eagle Sport - all season tires. Treadwear 560. However, if you go to the goodyear website - it shows no tires for the 2023 Model S - which I found interesting...

Also, FYI - if you are taking your car to get it paint protected..figure out a way to keep the car notifying you when a door opens, left unlocked, trunk open etc..on my 30th notification..lol...I have closed the app on my phone - but I am still getting the notifications.

I was hoping the issue was PLAID related - as with that rocket ship you would be ripping off the tread when accelerating. I do like the look when in the low mode, but I will drive at the normal setting on hoping that will minimize any premature wear. I am hoping to get 24k out of these tires...

Yes I think that the rear 21s on the S are causing the issues. That was one of the compelling arguments to get the 19s, also range and ride comfort. But had to go with the 21s.

I think you are right..that is why I do have a modern spare tire kit I plan to take on road trips. Just have to remember to put it in the trunk..lol.

I do like the 19s - they are great on range - but I am hoping that my build (hopefully Sept 2023) will have ironed out the camber issue, if that was indeed the problem with the rear tires wearing out prematurely. Also I am wondering if it will come with PS4s. Would love to have a center horn...

Just got the "schedule delivery" text..I scheduled it for 9/25. So be on the lookout.

I would keep a look out as anything close to a 10/2 or so EDD would be pushed hard to be delivered in the 3rd Qrt. So there may be a good chance you get a last-minute EDD change to 9/30. Or we all could get pushed to October..who knows..lol. Just checked and mine is still showing 9/21 - 9/30.

Just got somewhat of an update - VIN has already been assigned..now est delivery date has moved to- 9/21 - 930 - was 9/26-9/30. I don't think we have much to worry about (orders placed in the first 10 days or so in September) as you all know Tesla is veracious when it comes to end of quarter...

Being in CA that makes more sense..but still very quick...as I believe Freemont is the only factory making Model S and X.
