Very doubtful tesla will make changes that will allow 3rd party lithium batteries. The cars that still have lead acid, tesla only codes those cars to work with lead acid and if the car doesnt see voltages similar to how a lead acid would react, the car will reject the battery like a transplanted...

Well sad to report but car sent the battery into death spiral last night. I suspect its because of the recent cold snap we got here in minnesota that did it. Swapped in the stock battery again and will wait for warmer weather or firmware update to try again. Sigh...

I typically do 80% in the summer, 85% in the winter to make up for the heating usage. 2021 M3P

So the car is finally sleeping after 48 hours like you said. Now guess we wait and see if it eventually does the death spiral again or not.

I watch the car via teslafi and dont check on the tesla app to verify its sleeping. Also sentry is not on. Car slept fine before swapping the battery. Checked again this afternoon on if it was in a death spiral and its staying normal so far. Car just wont sleep.

So installed the v4+ back into my car yesterday and it seems mostly fine but the car doesnt like to goto sleep after driving. Car will goto sleep after its done charging but not when after driving. Just sits and idles for hours. Thoughts?

Have not looked on my battery to see what its max voltage is. As for the bluetooth, im going to bring home my spectrum analyzer tonight and see how much signal is coming out of the battery. Ive never seen bluetooth interfere with bluetooth before but there is always a first.
