I wish Tesla would clarify a bit more on how it works. In examining the saved clips it seems I get at least 10 minutes of video each time I have Sentry mode on, but that's about it. I have never received a sentry mode notification via the app. So something triggers video at a level below...

yes, true, but the newest software has a warning that comes up on your screen when you start the car and tells of the number of sentry mode alerts when you were gone.

Tire pressure increases when tires warm up. 2 lbs in 2 blocks sounds like more than normal though. My TPMS matches my hand gauge.

Would be helpful if you could take some sound measurements before and after. There is a free iphone app called dB meter that you could use.

I saw on another thread that the latest version of the software gives you a notice on the screen if sentry mode was activated by an incident.

Have to agree with Torque3. On another thread someone put some thinsulate above the factory sunshade and it would accomplish the same thing and look much better. But frankly I think the factory sunshade would be sufficient.

on fairly smooth side road nearby here I get 64dB at 40mph. 80 seems off the chart. at 74mph on concrete freeway I'm at about 72dB

Got the trial yesterday, it's for two weeks and looks to be full EAP. I previously had a 30 day free trial when the car was new.

Agree with Alan, turn off Creep. Much more natural to come to a stop. Takes another day to adapt to, but improves the car in my opinion and probably saves a small amount of energy.

Well I was either going to refer to it as the passing lane or fast lane, neither which quite fits I agree but it got the point across. I'm in SoCal as well. Now that I know it is #1 lane regardless of carpool lane or not, I shall call it #1.

I would not drive with recirculation on...not even sure if recirculated air goes through the filters or not and you definitely want fresh air flowing through the car which does go through the filters. There are large vents in the trunk which allows air to flow out of the car. Consider also...

Not sure how that would work. As far as I know the heating of the battery when needed occurs through warming the coolant with heat from the motor and inverter.

You can tell if the AC is on...when in auto mode the AC icon will be a dimmed blue color if it is on....which seems to be all the time. In manual mode, brighter blue. No way to tell on heat as far as I know and no way to see actual cabin temp aside from the app. Although the temp slider does...

Yeap, I recall when buying a BMW with 19s, they had me sign a form which explained the risks that I was assuming with the wheel/tire package. Tesla would be wise to do the same and to offer an alternative tire/wheel package for the performance model.

Depends on the State. In Michigan (OPs state) crossing solid white line is not recommended, but not illegal. I don't think the truck was in the OPs blindspot when he moved over so not surprising the blindspot warning didn't activate. It probably uses the front fender or B pillar rear facing...

I am considering the same. Did you install any mlv in the trunk area down by the vents on each side? That area seems ripe for air/sound to vibrate around in. The pictures I've seen show just bare metal in that whole area.

Not very many people have that baffle so don't know, but it is not surprising there is a gap for air to pass since the HVAC ventilates through vents in the trunk. It may also help the bass to have a vent. What's that piece made of? Have you tried to pop it out?

A youtuber did a test of aero covers and found a 0.5% increase in range. That's 1.5 miles for a LR battery. Not sure what the impact of 18's vs. 19s would be.
