Is there an easy way to tell if the HVAC system is heating or cooling? You can tell from the app by the color of the airflow arrows (red vs. blue), but I cannot see any way to tell from the screen inside the car. This may seem like an obvious thing but at moderate temperatures, it is not always clear.

Also, the app tells you the actual cabin temperature but I cannot see that there is any way to tell this from the car itself.

Am I missing something obvious here?

You can tell if the AC is on...when in auto mode the AC icon will be a dimmed blue color if it is on....which seems to be all the time. In manual mode, brighter blue. No way to tell on heat as far as I know and no way to see actual cabin temp aside from the app. Although the temp slider does change color to give a rough indication of AC or heat.
