A Few Questions About The Inside of The Frunk

1) I popped open the frunk plastic piece today because I noticed this sticker (in Picture 1 and 2). It wasn’t showing when I got my vehicle, but after a visit to the service center it’s now sticking out. Is that okay to leave it out?

2) I popped off the plastic piece and looked inside the frunk. Is it normal for these wires (Picture 3) to have a slit down the protective shell?

3) Under this white piece (Picture 4) I noticed the wires are exposed underneath right where it’s plugged in (Picture 5). Is that normal?

4) Lastly, is this white piece supposed I be connected to anything (Picture 6)?

1. Mine was sticking out at delivery. For emergency to kill power to air bags when firefighters are cutting the roof off a car.

2. Yes. That is how it is installed.

3. Looks fine. I think it is the same idea as #2.

4. Don't know.

re: #1, yes supposed to stick out. Here is more info on what it is:
The first responder loop is a low voltage harness. Cutting the first responder loop shuts down the high voltage system outside of the high voltage battery and disables the SRS and airbag components.

Basically makes the car safer for rescue personnel to work on.

1) Yeah, I originally tucked it back under because I just took delivery of an SR+ last month and it wasn’t sticking out (Picture 1) but I decided to leave it like this (Picture 2).

2) And does anyone know if this white piece is supposed to be attached to anything inside? (Picture 3)
