    with dual chargers you can charge at 100km/hr 22kwh/hr or 25%SOC/hr without a supercharger. while not as convenient as a supercharger they do provide a quick enough charge to make 450km trips not end with tow truck, if you just stop to charge for 30-60mins.

    last year I went and got prices from as many people as possible for VFIT NSW Solar Feed in Tariff | Rammblings and Madness and 6.4c/kwh is the 3rd from the bottom out of 9. I haven't had time to do a full cost comparison. I'll have to dig out my spreadsheet.

    unfortunately I didn't own a house until all the bonus schemes had expired so I'm on the VFIT and the powershop VFIT isn't great I'm currently on 10c VFIT.

    a lot of those travel adapter are very poorly made and will not cope with 10amps continuous. so be careful ! so look for a travel adapter that has australian test markings Safe electrical goods - NSW Fair Trading or cut off the plug and put proper clipsal or hpm plug on.
