someone needs to clean up the "garbage" entries - where people have delivery dates entered but no VIN or the put their reservation number where the VIN should go.

Glad to see some late May orders getting VINs, now lets move on to June....

@MMurrayGA - your order date of 6/11 with EDD of 8/20-9/9 is really consistent with my numbers. Order date of 6/13 and EDD of 8/22 - 9/11. Coincidence? My EDD actually moved up 8 days to where it was all of last week, prior to the October fiasco.

Good point on FSD margin. I paid the $10k for FSD so my MYLR should be prioritized above MYP without, right? And does anyone really know the profit margins of anything? - I don't think Tesla discloses that especially broken out by MYP vs MYLR.

I've heard that too, but do you really think there is that much higher margin in MYP? It has a higher price, but it also has higher cost with upgraded brakes, suspension, wheels, etc. Plus it is more expensive to change over for smaller production runs. So they make an extra $500 on MYP -...

The question is Why? Why would they build a MYP ordered in August ahead of a MYLR ordered in June? That's just dumb.

consistent with my 6/13 order - I have EDD of 8/22 - 9/11 since you are about a week later on order date and now a week later on EDD. I'm hoping the consistency means it is accurate.

I ordered MYLR on 6/13 with 8/22 -9/4 EDD. You MYP folks have it made with your short wait times.

Since you ordered about 11 days after me and your EDD starts 11 or 12 days after mine, I at least get a glimmer of hope due to the consistency.

Pretty much all last week my EDD sat at 8/15 - 9/4, changed by 1 day on Saturday, then moved to 8/22 - 9/11 on Sunday. By my calculations, if the EDD changes by 7 days every week I will take delivery - never.....

you typically have to owe federal tax to utilize these type credits (they are usually not refundable credits) however, most unused credits will carry over for years so even if they are not used in 2021, they will be available in the future. I have not had a single person use this credit yet...

Unrelated to itemized or standard deduction. Once you get to taxable income and the calculated tax, the credit is then a subtraction from the total taxes you owe. No income limitations on it that I can find. Not sure how Alternative Minimum Tax affects it yet - just haven't done the...

Absolutely will take that credit. Use Form 8911 revised Feb 2021.
