I just wanted to let everyone know that I've gone 15 hours without checking my EDD. If I make it to 24 hours I'm going to need someone to call Guinness Book of World Records.....

Congrats @NCSUguys If anyone had told me I'd get a MYP 3 or 4 weeks sooner, I'd have done it. Ordered MYLR a week before you & I'm still at least 3 weeks away from getting anything.....

Curious about this too. I have the Homelink at home ready to install. My understanding is that you have to have the car to schedule a service appt. which means another trip - unless they'll come to you.

I'm starting to think that once your vehicle has been produced your EDD goes to October until shipping logistics are figured out. If you don't have a VIN yet, I think you will in a few days. Maybe pending inspections???

Does anyone know if the reservation numbers are truly sequential? Or if different states or areas of the country get different RNs? Mine is 115114*** which would put me about 143,000 Model Ys behind yours. My understanding was that MY production/delivery was only 78k last quarter with...

EDD held steady today at 8/15 - 9/4.. the 8/15 date is 9 weeks from order date - looks like I'm 5 weeks in to a 9-12 week wait.

And now it’s moved another week later. 8/15 - 9/4. clearly I will never get this car, but I have done really nice accessories in my living room.

My trade in offer from Tesla expired and I had to update the mileage. 1,200 miles dropped the value by $300. :rolleyes: more annoying than anything. If they can’t deliver in 30 days that’s on Tesla, the offer should stand as long as it takes them to deliver.

My EDD moved from 8/9-8/29 to 8/15-9/4. It has moved back and forth between these two date ranges a couple of times this month. I mentioned earlier that 8/15 is exactly 9 weeks from my order date and 9-13 weeks is what the website told me at the time of the order.

Still holding at 8/9 - 8/29 for last few days.

Mine backed up again too. had been 8/28-9/4 since July 1, then changed to 8/15-8/28 Wednesday or Thursday, now back to 8/15-9/4. Give me a little hope and take it away…….

not sure if it worked or not really. I can search, but I don't find a VIN. So I don't really know if there just hasn't been a VIN assigned or if the process doesn't work anymore. It appears that I can search for other keys within the page source. Maybe they don't put the VIN there...

on Google Chrome, you get to the page showing your order, right click on the page & select "view page source", then hit control F to pull up the search function. I search for 5YJ which is the start of every Tesla VIN.

I really think the folks with a VIN assigned will get cars within 7-10 business days - seems like the EDD just doesn't know when and defaults to a generic September.

And today my EDD finally moved in the right direction. This morning it says 8/8 - 8/28. I guess that's good new until tomorrow when it changes to September.........:rolleyes:

My EDD has been holding consistent at 8/15 - 9/4 for a June 13th order. MYLR, white on white, induction wheels, no tow hitch, FSD. Last change in EDD was 7/1. 8/15 is exactly 9 weeks from my order date. Does Tesla disclose the number of open orders for MY?

Funny how you ordered a few days after me & have an EDD a month earlier than I do. my 6/13 order has been showing 8/15-9/4 for about a week now. I thought I was seeing some consistency with a lot of order dates and about 9 week out estimates, you killed that theory.

Does Tesla disclose how many MY orders they have as of end of 2nd Qtr?

For the first two weeks after my 6/13 order, my EDD jumped all over the place - from June 27-30 to the non-specific September. For the last 4 or 5 days it has been holding steady at Aug 3 -Aug 23. I'm still 5 weeks from the beginning of that time frame. Advisor said she hoped we would get...

Updated DD is now back to 8/3 - 8/23. I knew it was like this, so I'm really not complaining, but it just baffles me that a company with the technology of Tesla can't manage to design a this estimator software a little better. They know what has been ordered, they know their production...

updated DD is now July 3 - 17th. Still no VIN assigned. Based on this and what I've read above, Tesla really has no idea when my vehicle will be delivered!

Great info here. Ordered 6/13/21, paperwork complete 6/14. LR, white on white, 20" wheels, FSD, 5 seat. Located in GA. No VIN yet and DD estimated 8/3 - 8/23 as of this morning. Last 2 days it showed 8/9 - 8/29.
