I can attest to this as well. I use the H&R Block Tax software and you do put in the full $7,500 amount and it will prorate it for you to the correct amount.

Thanks buddhra. I already have a fast USB stick that works with my Android phone. I was hoping this would be a more elegant solution where I wouldn't have to remove the stick from the car. I'll stick with what I've got.

That's a good question. I don't have my car yet, so I'm guessing, but let me take a stab at it. I think you select your profile when you get in the car from the screen and that is how it is done. Otherwise, I'm not sure if both phones are in the vehicle.
