The blue diagnostic plug has four corner wires.. the blue and brown runs directly to ciggy 12v (BU is +ve and BN is -ve) @nd all the way to front console. Traced the wires this morning and confirmed that.

in the blue connector, there are two thin brown wires (and one more lighter shade brown..). Corner four wires are thicker (brown, black, and the other two corners, blue and yellow). I'm pretty certain the thick brown and blue runs up to the 12v cigarette as well. Will test that out sometime...

Are these these the ones you're referring to? They are different gauge size from others in the OBD plug. Otherwise I'm not seeing other loose wire there.

yes I do agree with you @Stives and at the same time, there is no easy / simple option to add an amp into RWD M3 without a lot more wiring and Tesla software override. Hence the premium price over RWD for LR and Perf. by adding the harness running parallel to the existing front dash speakers...

i think the puddle light turns off immediately on door close whereas the dome lights works off delay. which would work better imo.
