The problem with many of these after-market screens is the lack of updates and the quality of the display. They also struggle to keep up with the overall theme of the Tesla software (fonts, icons, color theme).

I love it! Mine connects to teslawifi_mercury at the super charger near me and it can download updates during that time since my wifi signal is not strong enough to reach the car (apartment complex).

Update: installed the latest update since the car was still trying to connect to wifi and causing drain. After the update no more drain.

I bluntly asked and the question was not answered directly but I was told they do not foresee any issues with the claim so in other words I should be ok.

Update: Tesla was able to remote in and see that a firmware update was pending and that the wifi kept trying to connect. They said the drainage was due to that and that turning off wifi will solve the issue. 🤞 this was the Service centers reply and they able to look at it remotely and even...

Thats exactly whats happened. Now i want to know if something is damaged if hey can just turn it off while the car gets fixed at the body shop or will tesla just waste my time and say use it as is until the collision work is done..

There is no specific category just shows it under Vehicle Idle and gives me a recommendation to keep the car plugged in (Cant do it in current situation)

New Owners will not get updates for a few weeks up to a month or two. This is KNOWN and intentional practice by tesla. You cannot force an update.

You should not be charging above 55 AMPS. The Romex 6/3 is rated for 55 amps, since there are no 55 amp breakers the code allows you go up to the next one (60). You should be using only 80% of the wires rated amp. How many amps is your car pulling ?

I got the Tesmanian, they look great. One issue I had was they are shipped in a BAG wrapped with tape. During transit one of them got scuffed at the edge. Apart from that, they are excellent mats. Highly recommend them. Price is also good compared to other brands. Fit is perfect.

Why do you need a subpanel ? If you don't have space in the panel you can buy a Double Breaker that uses the space of 1 breaker to give you 2. not sure what panel you have.
