Thanks...interesting idea to cut part of the rear sunshade material to keep the rear view completely open. I think I'll go with what you suggest and just get both of them. Not so much worried about sun/heat but if it can cut down the noise that would be great.

Has anyone tried to put the smaller front sunshade in the rear? It looks like it is fairly transparent but still don't like losing any more visibility out of the rear window than I need to.

Thanks, it looks good. I can't tell if it can calculate on average over a period of time. Do you know if it has that capability. I plan to measure an average dB over a section of highway. I figure this will be the most accurate way to measure changes in different mods I make to the car.

Has anyone else noticed this gap between the interior door panel and the metal part of the door? All of my doors look like this. If it was just one I'd assume maybe a broken clip/poor installation. Seems like this could be a source of interior noise. Is this normal? Has anyone attempted to fix?

I ordered the seals. Can anyone suggest a good noise meter app for the iphone? I downloaded a free one and not sure how accurate it is.

I don't doubt it stops water from entering from the bottom, but I don't think you're following what I'm saying...the seals filter water inside the door from the top, outside of the second seal but inside your third seal. Might leak out but might not. Check after a car wash or big rain. You...

Curious to see if that bottom seal on the rear doors traps water. The stock seals do channel water inside the door but outside of the second seal so your bottom seal may trap it. Could probably be fixed by making a few small holes in the seal.

If Tesla were smart they'd offer financing for upgrades. I tried it for 30 days and passed. No regrets.

My car is silent. Sometimes when pads aren't used much they get a glaze on them...I would turn regen on low for awhile and do some hard braking and see if that helps.

The seats are polyurethane. As I recall, the manufacturer recommends Fantastik spray. The seats do not seem to breathe so I guess they are non-porous and that's why leather conditioner doesn't get absorbed. I've used 303 on vinyl and plastics for ages and really love it. Works great on the...

Interesting, but the tire pictured does say 'Made in USA' and according to the table in the initial post, the only PS4 version made in the USA is the Tesla specific tire.

I've noticed much less vampire drain when turning off Bluetooth on my phone at home. If not, since my car is below my house Bluetooth will go in and out of connection depending on where I am in the house. I also noticed that once I disconnect Bluetooth the car goes right to sleep.

See SMAlset's post above...soapy water and razor blade. Other threads on this topic (not sure which forum) have found that Bon Ami original formula cleanser also works. Many have reported that clay, rubbing alcohol, window cleaner, goo gone, etc are ineffective.

I think heating will cost you much more than improving regen will gain you.

Wouldn't it be great if the wall connector could be run in reverse to power your house? Charge during offpeak and use the Tesla for house power during on-peak!

I have this problem on the passenger rear door and noticed that the seal just below the window glass is pulled out of place. I pushed it back in and am hoping that this will fix the issue. You can see it in the picture below. Will followup after next rain or car wash.

They are hydraulic not electronic. Have not tried left braking yet.
