Prevent fingernail scratch around door handle

Hi everyone - since the model 3’s exterior door handle requires a push-n-grab action to open the door, the area above the door handle seems to get scratched very easy by fingernail from everyday use (sort of like the door cup area in a traditional car door). Anyone have some creative idea on how to prevent that besides wrapping the whole door with protective film? I’ve thought about putting a piece of protective for (like xpel) above the door handle, but it might look out of place...

I’ve got the same issue. It looks terrible in the sunlight (black paint). I’ve ordered the paint kit to try to do some damage control, but will likely take it to a body shop to apply as see if they have some solution.
