I'm happy with my epoxy paint, and yeah, I didn't put the flakes in. ;-) But my floor was already getting rough from a bad concrete job so I don't have slickness problems.

Mine was in production starting 12/3, according to My Tesla, and finished in 12/8, according to my DS who called to set the pickup appointment before My Tesla gave any indication that it was done - besides changing to a specific date range. I agree with sdorn, it's not a perfect system.

I'm just hoping autopilot works in 10 days when I pick up my MS. But then again, having a car that will improve with each update is far preferable to me than having to wait for another model year and losing money on a trade in to get new features.

I agree - I'm speeding to stay alert, but full of cop sighting anxiety, or not speeding but bored to the point I get sleepy. If I could just surf the internet on long stretches of road rather than trying to stay focused, I'd take a lot more trips.

I agree - and I'm a bit worried about booking a room at a place with only one charger. Plugshare definitely shows a lot more spots than Tesla's map. I'm looking forward to my first trip with the Tesla to take my Mom to Duke for some treatment, can't wait to find a good spot to stay and charge...

I understand. I suppose by ordering the system I feel like I'm supporting it. I'd hope other automakers would react to the demand for a FSD system, even if it's not going to be delivered for the next year.

I have a rental house on the beach road here on the Outer Banks - thinking strongly of making the parking spot next to the road into an EV charging station. Not many public chargers right now. Going to work with a Tesla rep to get some of my restaurant friends to add charging as well.

I'm 6'7" - sounds like I should have ordered all glass instead of sunroof! I was fine on the test drive though. That does sound really nice - too bad they didn't have any to see when I went for my test drive. That's interesting that the tint is so much darker than the sunroof.

Lol - I LOVE driving the car, it's all the other people on the road who drive me nuts! And having to pay attention on the long stretches wears me out. I'm so looking forward to having it as my daily driver. Literally.

I agree, I like the back / butt option in our 2013 Suburban. I use the heat for lower back pain too - might have to get a memory foam cushion so I can keep it on all the time.

It is, but it's also a different, and heavier design. I'm not a structural engineer, but I'd bet the focal point of the structure is somewhere around where the rear gull wing doors join the top - you could do a MS with the same, but then you'd lose the all glass pano roof right? Also, perhaps...

Convertibles do suffer from the lack of a top structure. Trying to make up for it by beefing up other areas makes the car heavier than a more efficient structure, and even with the added reinforcement, most convertibles are far less "tight" than their full roofed counterparts. I know my...
